Karoline Leavitt debuted a new look at a recent White House briefing that had many people talking online.
On Thursday, December 11, the 28-year-old made her way to the White House briefing room podium wearing a black top that wrapped around her curves like a kimono. The mom of one paired her dark look with chunky gold earrings and dark pink lipstick. Meanwhile, she styled her blonde locks in a half-up, half-down style.
As Leavitt talked about growing tensions in Venezuela and other issues the Trump administration is facing, social media lit up with brutal comments about her appearance, as many claimed she looked “judicial” with her black outfit and that her lips looked too filled. It comes as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem’s appearance before plastic surgery has been revealed in throwback photos.

In the Associated Press livestream on YouTube, social media users flooded the comments section with thousands of comments about Leavitt and her remarks to reporters during the briefing. However, most took aim at every aspect of Leavitt’s appearance, including her outfit, lips, and even her accessories.
One person brutally mentioned her outfit, writing, “She’s looking very North Korea today. at least she’s dressed for the occasion.” Another person added that the look reminded them of judges’ robes, penning, “Why she got on the judge fit?” They weren’t the only ones, as a third said Leavitt was “looking judicial.”

Speaking about Leavitt’s accessories, a fourth added, “her cross must have been burning her. she’s not wearing it.” Meanwhile, several people couldn’t help but criticize both the press secretary’s makeup and hairstyle at the conference.
One viewer wrote, “Her lips look infected….” as another bashed, “Bad LIP STICK DAY TODAY.” A third continued to slam, “botched lip fill hahaha.”
Someone else chimed in, “Them lips look chopped,” as someone called out her hairstyle. “I don’t like her NEW hairstyle, it doesn’t suit her,” they wrote.

Yet another simply wrote, “MISS PIGGY OINK OINK,” referring to Trump calling a Bloomberg News correspondent a “piggy” during a clash onboard Air Force One in November. However, not everyone bashed Leavitt. One person complimented her with, “Karoline so pretty.”
The criticisms of Leavitt’s appearance on Thursday follow her appearance on an episode of Fox and Friends this week, but viewers all made the same observation. On Tuesday, December 9, she appeared on Fox and Friends to discuss Trump’s economic agenda.

However, online audiences couldn’t stop flooding social media with calls for the show’s co-hosts, Ainsley Earhardt, Brian Kilmeade, and Lawrence Jones, to grill her about her recent link to an ICE detention. A woman connected to Leavitt’s family has been freed on bond from ICE detention following her arrest last month near Boston, her attorney confirmed.
On X, formerly Twitter, one viewer demanded, “@foxandfriends Can you ask Karoline Claire Leavitt if she posted her Sister-in-law Bond?” Another chimed in, “@foxandfriends Can you, Ladies and gentlemen, ask Karoline Leavitt what is going on with the Trump Administration Deporting her Relatives and why her Family Member? I was reading about it this morning.”
Throughout her brief Fox and Friends segment, Leavitt stayed silent on the detention of her brother’s former fiancée and her later release. The show’s hosts instead focused their questions on Trump launching his nationwide economic tour today in Pennsylvania.
