Scott Williams has opened up on his battle with dartitis, following his World Championship first round win against Paulo Nebrida on Tuesday afternoon.

A video emerged back in October of Williams appearing to struggle with dartitis during a Players Championship game against Ryan Joyce.

However, Williams has seemed to bounce back from having the issues and looked in excellent form against Nebrida.

“Prior to that video with me and Ryan Joyce, I had it for a month, but no one saw it,” Williams said.

“People are texting me treating it like it’s cancer. I’m okay, I’m fine, I’m going to get over it.

“There were so many journalists who had no idea about the game, no idea about Dartitis, no idea about darts in general were asking, talking.”
