COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The Carver High School Tigers will compete for the GHSA AA State Football Championship! The Tigers will faceoff against Hapeville High School at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16th at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the Muscogee County School District said.
“Congratulations to the Carver High School Tigers on qualifying for the State AA Football Championship,” said Dr. David Lewis, superintendent. “Their football team, cheerleaders, and band members have demonstrated extraordinary hard work, determination, and school pride throughout this season.”
Lewis said the achievement reflects the strength of students, coaches, staff and the Carver community. The district said advancing to the state championship is a milestone few teams experience.
