It’ll Be Like Jackie Chan in the Spidey Suit: Tom Holland Will Be a Fighting Machine in Spider-Man 4

Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is all anyone could talk about at the moment. Being the fourth film in the Spider-Man franchise in the MCU, there are a ton of good things happening in the upcoming movie.
According to notable insider Alex Perez (via The Cosmic Circus), it seems that there are a ton of practical stunts in the upcoming movie, with Perez going so far as to state that the stunts are as smooth as Jackie Chan fighting in a Spider-Man costume.
There is a lot of practicality being done for this film, especially in the fight sequences. I have to give my props to the stunt coordinators because, holy crap, these might just be some of the most awesome movements I’ve seen from Spider-Man in a long time.
He continued,
This is a Spider-Man who has honed in on his fighting, his abilities, and his Spider-Sense. It’s like they put Jackie Chan himself in the da*n suit.
Well, this wasn’t everything that Alex Perez revealed since the insider also talked about how the memory spell that was cast in Spider-Man: No Way Home could end for Peter Parker in the MCU.
Spider-Man’s Role Expected to End in Avengers: Secret Wars
Back in 2021, when No Way Home was released, the finale of the movie saw all the Spider-Men returning to their respective dimension as well as all the villains receiving their due ending.
However, the ending of that movie also saw Doctor Strange casting a spell and making the world forget that anything like this ever happened or existed. However, he also uses that spell to make everyone forget that Spider-Man is Peter Parker. He actually makes everyone forget everything about Peter Parker, including ever knowing him.
This creates a conflict as MJ (his lover) and Ned (his best friend) also forget that Peter Parker ever existed. According to Alex Perez, MCU’s soft-reboot might just fix that problem.
With the universe being destroyed and reset, the spell will ultimately be broken. The memory spell was mainly a way to keep the universes at bay.
Naturally, it seems that our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will have to wait for a while to get his MJ and Ned back. Therefore, it seems like Spider-Man: Brand New Day might just be the darkest one in the franchise yet!

Jon Bernthal is confirmed to portray the role of the Punisher in Spider-Man: Brand New Day alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. For those who know, Frank Castle is not the lightest and funniest character to have around.
Even Marvel President Kevin Feige has stated that the Punisher will make Peter Parker a ‘proper Spider-Man’. Being alone (since MJ and Ned, in fact, no one remembers him), Tom Holland’s Peter Parker will have to struggle through a lot of things while handling things by his own self.
Being at that point where the trauma and maturity will take over, it does seem that Spider-Man: Brand New Day might just be the darkest film of the franchise, yet.
