A driver has died after a single vehicle crash on the M1.
The northbound carriageway was shut for more than eight hours after the crash at 22:40 GMT on Tuesday, near junction 15 for Northampton.
The man in his 20s from the West Midlands was killed after his white Mercedes hit the nearside metal barrier, Northamptonshire Police said.
The road reopened at about 07:30 GMT on Wednesday.
