The U.S. National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Valley County, northeastern Gem County, southeastern Adams County, and southeastern Washington County.
The warning is in effect until Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. MST. The storm is expected to bring gusts up to 70 mph and penny-sized hail.
A gust of 66 mph was observed at McCall as the storm moved through the area. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions.
