Jamie Adele Huffman Martin, 66, of Wilkesboro passed away Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at Ridge Valley Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, at First Baptist Church of North Wilkesboro with Dr. Bert Young and Dr. N. Nelson Grande Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Wayland Hall of First Baptist Church of North Wilkesboro from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Jamie was born on Nov. 28, 1959, in Wilkes County to James Monroe and Shirley McNeil Huffman. Jamie worked as an elementary school teacher in the Wilkes County Schools for 32 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Jeff Halsch and Wes Martin; nephew, Tim Halsch; and niece, Melissa Halsch.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin “Ed” Hugh Martin Jr.; daughter, Brittany Meredith Martin of Boomer; son Edwin “Trey” Hugh Martin III (Shelby); grandchildren, Aven Sienna Eller and Aurora “Rory” Lynn Martin; brothers, Hollis Huffman of Roaring River, Brian Huffman (Carol) of Millers Creek; mother and father-in-law, Peggy Martin Halsch and Garrin Halsch of Wilkesboro; sisters-in-law, Tracy Halsch (Katrina) and Jeri Waddell Martin; brother-in-law Paul Halsch (Juli); nephews Benjamin Huffman, Caleb Huffman, Caleb Hawkins (Laurence), Andrew Halsch, and Eric Halsch; nieces Rachel Minick (Ryan), Jennifer Moghadassi, Emma Logsdon (Ryan), Megan and Elise Halsch; and five grand nieces and nephews.
