Lonzo Ball Criticized by NBA Fans as Cavs Lose in PG’s Revenge Game vs. Bulls

Lonzo Ball’s revenge game against the Chicago Bulls didn’t go the way he would have liked.

The Cleveland Cavaliers guard had just two points, seven rebounds, an assist and three turnovers, shooting 1-of-5 from the field and 0-of-4 from deep as the Cavs lost 127-111.

The Bulls traded Ball to the Cavs in June in return for Isaac Okoro, and so far, Chicago has won that trade. After another night of struggles for Ball, Cleveland fans lamented his rough performance.

Ball has, unfortunately, had his career derailed by injuries. He suffered a knee injury during the 2021-22 season and proceeded to miss all of the 2022-23 season and the entirety of the 2023-24 season.

He finally returned last season, but he hasn’t been the same. After playing 35 games last year and putting up 7.6 points per game last year, he’s averaging just 5.6 points, 4.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game this year.

Ball will look to get things going soon, but he hasn’t given Cavs fans much to root for so far.
