Men pulled from crashed car by heavily armed tactical police

At least five men have been pulled from a crashed car at an intersection in Sydney’s south-west after colliding with heavily armed police.
The men can be seen lying on the road and footpath with their hands zip-tied at George Street in Liverpool, with tactical police standing over them, in footage posted on social media.

The vision shows one man whose head appears to be bleeding.
The crashed Hyundai hatchback has Victorian number plates.
Another video posted online by SCN Worldstar shows similarly outfitted officers pulling another man from a Toyota hatchback, also with a Victorian number plate.

Police said an operation is underway and further information will be provided later on Thursday.
“There is no ongoing risk to the community,” police said.
