If you like football and you like video games, there is a high chance you will have played or at least know about the Fifa series.
The football video game was one of the biggest brands in gaming history, but in 2022 there was a change – EA the company behind the original games split from the Fifa brand.
Since then EA, which is short for Electronic Arts, continued to make football games but they were called EA Sports FC instead.
Fifa, which is the group in charge of world football, said it was looking for a new partner to make a new game under its name and now it’s found one – and is looking to release it ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
