Pharmacists in Guernsey urge people to plan their prescriptions

Pharmacists have urged islanders to order repeat prescriptions ahead of the coming bank holidays.
Chief pharmacist Teena Bhogal said pharmacies were under “continuing pressure” and islanders who had planned ahead would help them manage their workload.
Ms Bhogal said prescriptions could be dispensed up to four business days before the date on them so people off island could have them dispensed in advance.
She said people with sufficient medication at home could help by waiting until after the Christmas period to order further supplies.
