NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Don Holt bridge was closed in both directions early Thursday morning as first responders worked to assess an ongoing incident in the area of Virginia Avenue.
Eastbound traffic was blocked at Virginia Avenue and Westbound traffic was blocked off at Clements Ferry Road, causing major backups for drivers who utilize those roads for their morning commute.
Drivers are advised to stay clear of the area if possible to allow first responders to attend the scene.
