PS5, PS4 Games Being Delisted From PS Store as Dev Closes

A pair of PS5 and PS4 games is being delisted from the PS Store because their developer is shutting down. 2018 party game Guilt Battle Arena, which we quite liked, has already been scrubbed from the PS Store, and 2023 action game Gravity Oddity is in the process of being pulled from sale.

Indie dev Invincible Cat is shutting down and its PS5, PS4 games are being delisted

Invincible Cat, the one-man studio behind the aforementioned games, was launched by Tim Verrouil in 2016. He announced the closure in a note on Steam.

“It is with deep sadness that I announce the end of Invincible Cat,” Verrouil wrote. “It has been an incredible journey, and I thank you all for the support. I hope you had fun playing my games as much as I did creating them.”

Verrouil didn’t say why he’s closing down Invincible Cat.

“Unfortunately good things have to come to an end at some point, and the time is now for Invincible Cat,” he added.

Guilt Battle Arena and Gravity Oddity are the only two games Invincible Cat published on the PS Store. The former only launched on the PS4, whereas the latter has a native PS5 port.

At the time of this writing, Gravity Oddity is still available for purchase, but isn’t part of PS Store’s ongoing promotion.
