A Monaghan business woman says Christmas should be about family, faith and kindness.
Helen Drumm spoke on the Joe Finnegan show today about her belief that peace, love and taking time to be patient with one another should be people’s focus over the Christmas season.
She says Christmas offers people a break from everyday daily life, and families can come together and spend quality time.
As a retailer, she finds Christmas the only time she can get time off, to simply relax.
She noted that slowing down and appreciating the value of the simple things in life.
Despite running a busy business, Sound Quality Gifts, Helen says Christmas Eve is special as it allows her to switch off and focus on her family.
She believes if more people carried the Christmas spirit and kindness all year round, the world would be a better place.
