CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — President trump says military service members will be getting a bonus this Christmas.
The president says the money is coming from tariffs and the Big, Beautiful Bill.
I asked Lorenzo Rios for reaction tonight.
He’s the CEO of the Clovis Veterans Memorial District.
Rios told me he’s also hopeful about the affordability the president promised saying it will be a breath of fresh air on the economy here in the San Joaquin Valley.
Before tonight’s announcement, President Trump had said he wants to send two-thousand dollar checks to Americans with tariff money, while simultaneously promising to pay down the debt with those same funds.
