Negotiators have completed work on the legal text of a UK/EU treaty for Gibraltar’s post-Brexit relation with the EU.
This has been confirmed to the Gibraltar Chronicle by the European Commission.
It was finished last Friday and the Commission today informed the European Council of the development.
Christine Vasquez spoke to the Deputy Chief Minister on the procedures that will follow.
Joseph Garcia said it’s been a long and complex negotiation and confirmed the Treaty text will be published before ratification and will be debated in Parliament.
