Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan says her husband has lost his licence after drink driving in central Victoria.
Ms Allan said Yorick Piper was driving to the supermarket in Bendigo yesterday morning when he rear-ended another car at an intersection.
He was pulled over and blew the blood alcohol concentration limit of 0.05.
Mr Piper received an on-the-spot fine and has lost his licence for three months from January 16.
Ms Allan said she and her family had celebrated their son’s birthday at a local pub the night before, and that medication he was taking may have contributed to the incident.
