Season series: Warriors lead 1-0
Golden State lost 136-131 to the Portland Trail Blazers Sunday while failing to cover as a 5-point road favorite as the Over (238) was smashed. G Stephen Curry dropped 48 points to carry the Warriors, but just 1 other teammate finished with more than 15 points. The Warriors gave up 96 points to 3 Trail Blazers in the loss.
Phoenix lost 116-114 to the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday, failing to cover as a 1.5-point home favorite with the Under (232) hitting. G Devin Booker and C Mark Williams combined for 47, but it wasn’t enough to overcome LA’s 33 made free throws. The Suns were dominated 54-37 on the glass, resulting in 25 second-chance points for the Lakers.
The Warriors beat the Suns 117-104 on Nov. 4 as 10.5-point home favorites. Curry and G Moses Moody combined for 52 points to beat Booker’s 38 points. The Dubs dominated in fast-break thanks to 17 Phoenix turnovers in the win.

Warriors at Suns picks and predictions
Prediction
Suns 115, Warriors 114
BET SUNS (+110).
Phoenix forces a lot of turnovers and will be able to make Golden State uncomfortable when passing or dribbling the ball, and with the Suns knowing they don’t have to guard anyone other than Curry, the Warriors will simply be too easy to guard to win here. Look for F Dillon Brooks to have a good game, and don’t be surprised when Phoenix looks like the better team here by a comfortable margin.
The Suns are also 3-1 in their last 4 matchups against the Warriors in Phoenix.
PASS.
I like the risk and the value of the moneyline here compared to the spread, and because I do not recommend backing a team on both wagers for the same game, pass here. If you are not as confident in the Suns as I am here, this is the better play for you.
LEAN UNDER 231.5 (-110).
The Warriors can’t find any offense outside of Curry, and unless he has another supernova performance here, they won’t find enough offense to carry this game to the Over. On the other side, the Suns are a mediocre offensive team while Golden State has a top-5 defense.
The Under has hit in 3 of Phoenix’s last 4 games and is 5-3 in Golden State’s last 8. The Under 4-2 in the last 6 matchups between these squads.
This is a lean because the Over is 16-11 for the Warriors this season.
