‘It’s good business’ – Stephen Bradley explains Shamrock Rovers reasons for accepting €500,000 Honohan deal

Josh Honohan of Shamrock Rovers is honoured by the crowd at half-time
Stephen Bradley says that selling players will always be part of the Shamrock Rovers plan and believes the club have done good business by agreeing a €500,000 deal with Lincoln City for Josh Honohan.
The defender arrived at Rovers from Cork City at the beginning of the 2024 season for a compensation figure of around €20,000 so the Hoops have turned a considerable profit after two seasons where Honohan became one of the top players in the country and earned two call ups from Heimir Hallgrimsson.
