Good Thursday morning!
Much colder weather arrives today with snow and tumbling temperatures.
Temperatures will be in the 30’s early this morning and then drop down into the teens in the afternoon. The wind will make it feel even colder with wind chills dropping to near zero this afternoon.
Occasional snow showers may accumulate up to ½” to 1” later this morning and this afternoon. The wind will gust to 45 mph and cause blowing snow and drifting of the snow at times.
Tonight will be very cold with temperatures dropping to zero in the metro and slightly below zero in the suburbs.
The weekend looks dry and typical for December with afternoon temperatures in the teens and 20s across the state.
