Algoma and Huron-Superior Student Transportation Services have announced this morning that due to icy roads and concerns of a flash freeze, all school related transportation is cancelled today for all Boards in all areas.
Sault Ste Marie Area – including Batchawana, Goulais River, Searchmont and area
Northern Area – including Wawa, White River, Chapleau, Dubreuilville, Hornepayne and area
North Shore Area – including Iron Bridge, Blind River, Elliot Lake, Spanish and area
Central Algoma Area – including Echo Bay, Bruce Mines, Desbarats, St. Joe Island, Thessalon and area.
In addition, Boissoneau Bus Lines Inc. which services the Garden River First Nation will be cancelling ALL school bus transportation today.
Schools will remain open; however, no transportation will be provided.
