It’s day nine of the World Darts Championship and Dan Fitch has picked out tips from each of the two sessions taking place at the Alexandra Palace in North London.
He is backing two bets in the most 180s handicap markets, favouring Josh Rock to outscore Gemma Hayter and Beau Greaves to overcome a deficit against Daryl Gurney.

Expect Rock to be solid
Josh Rock is a massive 1/80 favourite to win his first-round match against World Darts Championship debutant Gemma Hayter.
Hayter qualified for this tournament by virtue of finishing fifth in the 2025 Women’s Series rankings. The 32-year-old has been given a tough draw against a player ranked 11th in the world by the PDC.
It’s been something of a breakthrough year for Rock, who won the World Youth Championship in 2022. He has reached the semi-finals of the UK Open and World Matchplay, while he was also one half of Northern Ireland’s World Cup of Darts winning team.
As you might imagine, it’s been hard to find much value in a match that features such a heavy favourite. Rock’s scoring power is such that the related markets provide the likeliest route to finding a worthwhile bet.
His average over the last 12 months is 98.10, which is only surpassed by Luke Humphries and Luke Littler. This number is in large part built on an ability to hit 180s, with Rock’s total of 598 maximums being the fifth highest among professional players.
With Rock able to hit the treble 20 with such regularity, I’m backing him with -2 in the most 180s handicap market at odds of 10/11.

Greaves is the 180 queen
Of all the female players involved at this year’s World Darts Championship, the most is expected from Beau Greaves.
She comes to this tournament having recently lost 6-3 to Gian van Veen in the final of the World Youth Championship, where she caused a shock by beating Littler in the semi-finals.
Greaves is ranked 120 by the PDC having topped the Order of Merit in the Women’s Series and finished second on the Development Tour in 2025.
The 21-year-old reached the fourth round of the UK Open and beat Niko Springer in the round robin stage of the Grand Slam of Darts, where she was narrowly defeated 5-4 by two former world champions in the shape of Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson.
It says much for Greaves’s burgeoning reputation that she is rated as the 4/6 favourite to beat Daryl Gurney, who is himself ranked 22nd in the world. The Irishman partnered Rock to win the World Cup of Darts and reached the quarter-finals of the recent European Championship and Players Championship Finals.
The Ally Pally crowd will no doubt be on her side, but with Gurney in decent form I’m ignoring the result and going for another most 180s handicap bet.
Only Littler has scored more 180s than Greaves’s 12-month total of 677, so I’m backing her to score more maximums than Gurney with a handicap of -1 at odds of 10/11.
