Fans were quick to comment on the shock news, with one writing on the post: “Why go on MAFS for a straight relationship when you had doubts or were curious about your sexuality?
“I have zero problems with your final choice, but you wasted someone else’s chance to find a straight relationship just to get your 15 minutes.”
But Bec wasted no time in hitting back at the negative comment.
She wrote: “I went on MAFS for a straight relationship because I was looking for a man at the time, obviously.

“I didn’t have doubts or curiosity about my sexuality. I think it’s obvious I was all in with Bailey. Of course I wouldn’t waste someone’s time.
“Bailey and I ended in July. I didn’t actively seek a relationship with a woman afterwards. It just happened this way.”
Appearing more loved-up than ever before, Bec gushed over her new romance in various social posts.
In a TikTok video montage, she wrote: “In your 30s a girl will come into your life when you least expect it.”
Appearing to hint that this was her first same-sex relationship, Bec added: “You’ll question everything you’ve ever known about yourself… who you are, what you are, how this feels so right????
“It’s important you don’t try and fight it, let love in.”
One of the videos then featured Lily holding up a hand-painted sign to Bec which read: “Will you be my girlfriend.”
Bec then appeared to poke fun at her MAFS past and her non-negotiable that she needed to be paired with an “alpha male” like her ex-husband Bailey.
She said in another Instagram caption: “Here’s my ‘new love’. My 5ft 4” alpha.”
Bec and Bailey were one of the strongest couples to come out of this year’s experiment.
But they split due to the distance between them, with Bailey and his daughter based in Brighton while Bec lives in Liverpool.
