Notts sign all-rounder Linde for T20 Blast campaign

Notts Outlaws have signed South Africa all-rounder George Linde for the 2026 T20 Blast campaign.
The 34-year-old has featured 33 times for the Proteas across all international formats, although a vast majority of those appearances have come in the shortest form of the game.

Linde, whose franchise cricket career has seen him play at home in South Africa, as well as Bangladesh, Pakistan, the Caribbean, United States and in England with Kent, has taken more than 200 wickets and amassed just over 2,500 T20 runs.
His move to Notts sees him return to Trent Bridge, where he had previously played for the Trent Rockets in The Hundred competition.
“After spending some time with him at the Rockets, it was clear he has a real hunger to play in the Blast again,” Notts head coach Peter Moores told the club website.
“He has the ability to bowl at any stage of the innings, as well as being a powerful left-handed middle-order batter.”
