Texts on ‘Russian girls’ deepen Virginia Giuffre claims against ex-Prince Andrew

Newly released messages discussing the price of young women for Jeffrey Epstein have intensified scrutiny of allegations made by the late Virginia Giuffre, who claimed the former Duke of York took part in a group sex encounter on Epstein’s private island.

Virginia Giuffre’s claims that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was involved in a group sex orgy have deepened after new messages emerged discussing the cost of young Russian women for Jeffrey Epstein.
Fresh material released by Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee includes screenshots of texts from an unidentified sender referencing an “18-year-old from Russia” and asking for “$1000 per girl”.
Redacted details in the messages list a young woman’s name, age, physical measurements, weight and departure city, with Russia named as her country of origin. One message reads: “Maybe someone will be good for J?” — understood to be a reference to Epstein.
Giuffre, who died by suicide earlier this year, had testified under oath that Epstein organised a sex party involving the former Duke of York, herself and seven girls flown in from Eastern Europe, reports the Mirror.
She claimed the encounter took place on Epstein’s private Caribbean island, Little St James. In her posthumously published memoir, Nobody’s Girl, released in October, she alleged: “Epstein, Andy, and approximately eight other young girls and I had sex together.”
Giuffre wrote that the other girls appeared to be under 18 and spoke little English, claiming Epstein joked about their inability to communicate.

She previously told investigators she and the other girls were instructed to gather at a poolside cabana, where they were met by Epstein and the then-Prince. She alleged the girls had been brought in specifically for the occasion and that Epstein directed events while he and Andrew watched and took part.
Mountbatten Windsor, who was stripped of his royal titles following his association with Epstein, has repeatedly and vehemently denied all allegations.
The latest release of 68 images also includes a photograph of a Ukrainian girl’s passport. Survivors of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell have long claimed passports were confiscated to prevent victims from escaping.
The disclosures come just days before a deadline for the Trump administration to release long-awaited government files linked to Epstein.

Congressman Robert Garcia, the ranking Democrat on the Oversight Committee, said the new tranche “raises more questions” about what the US Department of Justice is still withholding.
“As we approach the deadline for the Epstein Files Transparency Act, these new images raise serious concerns about what the DOJ has in its possession,” he said. “We must end this White House cover-up and release the Epstein files now.”
Other images released include a photograph of a line from Lolita tattooed on a woman’s foot. Epstein was known to own a first-edition copy of the novel at his New York home.
Another image shows magician David Blaine alongside Epstein and filmmaker Woody Allen, with no suggestion of wrongdoing by either. Additional photos show Bill Gates with an unidentified woman whose face is obscured, and Epstein seated next to linguist Noam Chomsky on a plane.

Gates has previously said his meetings with Epstein were connected to philanthropy and described the association as a “huge mistake”. Chomsky told the Wall Street Journal in 2023 that their relationship was “none of your business”, adding that Epstein had already served a sentence at the time.
The revelations coincide with a dramatic legal move by Ghislaine Maxwell. The convicted trafficker has asked a federal court in New York to overturn her 2021 conviction and 20-year sentence, claiming “substantial new evidence” of constitutional violations.
In a handwritten filing, Maxwell alleges exculpatory evidence was withheld and the jury misled. Her conviction was upheld on appeal, and the US Supreme Court declined to hear her case last October.
Maxwell was transferred this summer from a federal prison in Florida to a minimum-security camp in Texas shortly after meeting Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to discuss matters related to the Epstein investigation.
