Tim Tebow Gives Real Opinion on Travis Kelce and the Chiefs

Tim Tebow’s words may hold a lot of weight among NFL teams. The national championship-winning quarterback had an indirect warning not to give the Kansas City Chiefs an opportunity to sneak into the playoffs. Ahead of their game with the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday, he said that if the Chiefs somehow make the postseason, you can never count them out, while singling out Travis Kelce among others.
While Tim’s remarks only recently surfaced, the Los Angeles Chargers evidently recognized the threat that Travis and the Chiefs could pose if they return to the postseason. They officially eliminated the three-time AFC champions from playoff contention on Sunday thanks to a 16-13 victory.

With the Chiefs officially out of the playoff running, the race for the Super Bowl may be as wide open as it’s ever been. Before this season, Kansas City hadn’t missed the playoffs since 2014. With Patrick Mahomes as their starting quarterback, they had made it to either the AFC Championship Game or the Super Bowl each time until 2025.
Now that they are out of the picture, Tim shares who he believes has a chance to lift the Lombardi Trophy next year. “You look at the (Los Angeles) Rams and Matt Stafford and Sean McVay and what they’re doing,” Tim told People.
He didn’t forget about his hometown team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, who currently lead the AFC South. “And even the Jaguars are doing well this year, so we’ve got that in our hometown!” Tim’s family moved from the Philippines to Jacksonville when he was only three. The Jaguars are on a five-game winning streak and have never been to a Super Bowl.
There is widespread speculation that this may be Travis’ last season in the NFL. Earlier this month, Patrick talked about cherishing every moment he may have left with the Chiefs’ tight end.
The Chiefs’ season concludes on January 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
