Tommy Fury is seat to go ‘head-to-head’ with his dad, John Fury, as they’re set to join forces for their first move together away from the boxing ring.
Described as the “ultimate showdown as heavyweight opinions go head-to-head”, the father and son duo will have a verbal battle of the generations in new visualised podcast, What the Fury?! coming soon to BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds produced by All3Media’s Optomen.
Filmed at the iconic Holmes Chapel Boxing Club in Cheshire, the father and son duo will discuss the biggest themes and topics that have faced major changes in the past few decades such as modern men, parenting, relationships, AI and more.
The BBC has teased: “Expect verbal jabs, hooks of wisdom, and haymakers of humour as traditionalist John and Gen Z Tommy battle it out to see who’s really landing the truth.”
Tommy and John said in a statement: “We’re a father and son who see the world completely differently but somehow ended up doing a podcast together. It’s a clash of the old school versus new school, with all the fighting talk you’d expect from us Fury’s.”

It comes after Tommy recently opened up his life to the cameras in his new BBC Three documentary series, Tommy: The Good, The Bad, The Fury. In the 26-year-old’s first tell-all documentary, he was seen giving fans a look into his real life behind the stardom. From his battle with alcohol, to fighting back in his boxing career after being forced out the ring with a hand injury.
Ahead of the release of the first episode of the series, Tommy attended a premiere at The Printworks in Manchester city centre where he was seen with John, as well as his mum, Chantal, who made a rare public appearance to support her son. And John featured heavily in part one of the docuseries, as Tommy was seen getting his boxing career back on track following surgery on his hand.
