BBC books Fury visualised podcast from Optomen

BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds have ordered a new visualised podcast from All3Media’s Optomen featuring father and son Tommy Fury and John Fury.
What the Fury?! is “verbal battle of the generations” featuring professional boxer and television personality Tommy Fury and his father boxing legend John Fury.
Filmed at the iconic Holmes Chapel Boxing Club in Cheshire, the father and son duo will discuss the “biggest themes and topics that have faced major changes in the past few decades such as modern men, parenting, relationships, AI and more.”
Tommy and John Fury said “We’re a father and son who see the world completely differently but somehow ended up doing a podcast together. It’s a clash of the old school versus new school, with all the fighting talk you’d expect from us Fury’s”.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC said “Tommy and John Fury will pull no punches as they take their energy and spirit from the hit tv show into this new visualised podcast. Audiences will have a front row seat as the each discuss their views on modern day topics like only the Fury’s can”.
What the Fury?! (10×30) is an Optomen Production for BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds and was commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment. Optomen Creative Directors are Tina Flintoff and Nick Hornby alongside Executive Producer Rebecca McLaughlin. The Commissioning Editor for the BBC is Chantal Boyle.
