In what may be the most one-sided vote in the history of this exercise, the WAGNH Community have spoken almost literally as one in picking the lineup for today’s trip to St James’ Park.
All eleven starters are well into the 80s for voting percentage, with seven reaching over 95 per cent consensus. If last year we had A- and B-teams, this one here would be the A+ Team!
Other than the starting eleven, only one other player received any sort of noteworthy consideration, with Malo Gusto collecting 42 per cent thanks to his wild card versatility. He might have even taken a couple votes off Robert Sanchez!
I suppose it’s fair to say that we consider this our best, strongest current (available) lineup. Could they get the job done away to Newcastle? We might just find out shortly.
