The 2025 College Football Playoff kicked off on Friday, Dec. 19, and continues with a triple header on Saturday, Dec. 20.
ESPN’s “College GameDay” is on site for the first of the three games on Dec. 20 in College Station, Texas, for the matchup between No. 7 Texas A&M (11-1) and No. 10 Miami (10-2). The three-hour pregame show featuring Rece Davis, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit, will preview the College Football Playoff tripleheader, with the show starting at 9 a.m. ET, leading up to kickoff.
The winner will face No. 2 Ohio State in the quarterfinals.
The Aggies and Hurricanes are scheduled for an 12 p.m. ET kickoff. Texas A&M’s lone loss this year was a loss to rival Texas in the regular season finale. Meanwhile, Miami lost two games to Louisville and SMU by a combined nine points.
Miami won the last matchup between the two programs on Sept. 9, 2023, 48-33, over Texas A&M in Miami Gardens, Florida. In the last matchup in College Station, the Aggies defeated the Hurricanes, 17-9, on Sept. 17, 2022.

Where is ‘College GameDay’ location this week?

“College GameDay” will air live from 9 a.m. to noon ET from College Station, Texas, ahead of the Texas A&M-Miami first-round matchup in the CFP. It’s the first time the show has visited College Station since Nov. 30, when the Aggies hosted the rival Texas.
The show aired live in Norman, Oklahoma, ahead of Oklahoma vs. Alabama in the first round of the CFP on Friday, Dec. 19.

Who is ‘College GameDay’ guest picker today?
2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel is the guest picker for Texas A&M vs. Miami. This marks Manziel’s second appearance as a guest picker. He also held the honors during the Aggies’ 2024 Week 1 matchup vs. Notre Dame.
