Micah Parsons suffers season-ending ACL tear, GB’s playoff hopes fade
Joe Rivera and Chris Bumbaca break down what Micah Parsons’ season-ending ACL tear means for Green Bay’s Super Bowl aspirations.
Saturday in the park will have to wait. Saturday in the NFL is here.
The NFL traditionally dominates Monday, Thursday and Sunday for three months of the year. Late in the season, all bets are off as Saturday gets added to the calendar.
That begins in Week 16, when the league provides fans with a doubleheader on the final weekend before Christmas. While the “in the hunt” teams are in short supply this year, there is a particularly intriguing matchup that will wrap up the Saturday slate.
The upstart Chicago Bears will play host to the Green Bay Packers as both teams jockey for playoff positioning, clinging to their spots while the Detroit Lions lurk in the shadows.
Before we get there, the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles will try to stay on track against the rival Washington Commanders.
It’s an appetizer before Sunday’s Week 16 schedule kicks off. Here’s what to know about the NFL’s Saturday slate in Week 16.
