Howell becomes ninth Aggie in history to be named unanimous All-American

(KBTX) – Texas A&M defensive end Cashius Howell is the ninth Aggie in history to be named a unanimous All-American and the first since punter Braden Mann in 2018.
The Football Writers Association released its All-America teams, making Howell a first-team selection by all five recognized polls from the NCAA (AP, FWAA, AFCA, Sporting News and Walter Camp).
Howell is tied for fourth in the nation with 11.5 sacks and has 14.0 tackles for loss on the season. He’s second in the nation among defensive ends with six pass breakups. Howell was a finalist for the Lombardi Award and the Chuck Bednarik Award.
KC Concepcion is a consensus All-American as an All-Purpose player after earning first-team honors by the FWAA, AP and AFCA. He landed on the second team as a punt returner from The Sporting News.
Concepcion leads the nation with 460 punt return yards. His 12 total touchdowns rank fourth among all receivers in the country, finding the endzone this season with a rush, a reception, and a punt return. He leads the Aggies with 57 catches for 886 yards.
Mario Craver earned second-team recognition as a wide receiver by the FWAA.
In 11 games played, Craver caught 52 passes for 825 yards and four touchdowns. He’s also carried the ball 11 times for 81 yards and a score.
