A game of two halves? With a barely believable final quarter to boot.
The Giants were so impressive in
the first half, racing to a 19-0 lead and putting Denver in their place.
But Sean Payton’s Broncos are a
gritty outfit and, thanks to two rushing touchdowns from quarterback Bo Nix overhauled
the 2-5 Giants in the fourth quarter.
Then plucky rookie Jaxson Dart
snagged a final-minute touchdown to re-establish the lead, only for a last
field goal from Will Lutz to win it for the Broncos.
They move to 5-2 and maintain the
lead of the AFC West.
