Xbox Game Pass Gets An Unmissable Day-One Release On October 21

October 21 is going to be a huge day for Xbox Game Pass and its members with the arrival of an unmissable day-one title from a legendary franchise. Recently, Microsoft’s subscription service underwent an overhaul that changed its very structure. In addition to the implementation of a tier system, there was also a price increase for Xbox Game Pass members.
While the changes were significant, the subscription service’s mission remains the same. As such, new games are being added to the catalog frequently, though they may be limited to certain tiers. The addition of Devolver Digital’s Ball x Pit to Xbox Game Pass, for example, is limited to the Ultimate tier. Now, the catalog is going to increase even further with a brand-new title.
Ninja Gaiden 4 Is A Free Day-One Release On Xbox Game Pass
The Game Will Be Playable On Xbox Series X/S, PC, & Cloud Via The Service
Yakumo and Ryu share center stage in Ninja Gaiden 4.
On October 21, Xbox Game Pass will receive Ninja Gaiden 4 as a free day-one addition to its catalog. The game will be made available for the Ultimate and PC Game Pass tiers only, which means that if you’re an Essential or Premium tier member, you won’t have access to it. The action-adventure game developed by Team Ninja and PlatinumGames will be playable on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Cloud.
Ninja Gaiden 4 is arguably the largest title added to Xbox Game Pass in October. The new game is being published by Xbox Game Studios. Even though Xbox does not own the IP, per se, it is spearheading the game’s publishing efforts, which makes it unlikely that it will be removed from the Game Pass catalog any time soon. Even so, it’s best to play this game at launch.
Why You Can’t Miss Ninja Gaiden 4
This Fast-Paced Action Game Is Perfect For Those Tired Of Soulslike Combat
Ryu Hayabusa is hunted in Ninja Gaiden 4
The new entry in the classic action-adventure series is promising to be at its very best. During Screen Rant’s preview of Ninja Gaiden 4, we praised the depth of the potential narrative story arc, as well as the nostalgia of the first two entries in the franchise, which is intertwined with brand-new, up-to-date gameplay mechanics.
Even if you haven’t played the previous installments in the series, you should give the game a chance, as it will be a story of its own, while conversing with the past. The franchise is all about fast-paced action, and from what has been shown so far, it delivers precisely that. Our preview even mentions that it evades the soulslike mechanics that are abundantly present in the industry right now.
The launch times of Ninja Gaiden 4 will vary depending on your region, but for all intents and purposes, it arrives on October 21. At that point, if you’re a member of Xbox Game Pass’ Ultimate or PC tiers, you’ll be able to play it in full.
