Gusty showers overnight

(WBNG) – A cold front will work through during the overnight hours and bring us some gusty showers, even perhaps a rumble of thunder. Windy conditions will continue into Monday as the low departs to the north and east.

The heaviest line of rain along the front will move through between 11pm-1am. A rumble of thunder is possible as well. There could be some localized high winds along this front.

The main line of rain will work out of the region by around 3-4am, but showers will linger around during the early morning hours.

More rain is expected during the morning commute on Monday along the backside of the low-pressure. This will be accompanied by some gusty winds that will linger through most of Monday. Wind gusts could approach 25-30mph on Monday out of the Northwest.

Rainfall amounts have trended lower over the past 24 hours. Anywhere from a quarter of an inch to three-quarters of an inch is expected by Monday afternoon. Some isolated amounts of one inch are possible.

Tuesday will be a warmer day, but cooler conditions will follow. Most of the week will be unsettled as well, with a chance of rain almost every day.
