Oasis have finally revealed who will be replacing Bonehead for their upcoming tour dates after the guitarist was forced to withdraw due to health issues.
Earlier this month, Paul Arthurs – the musician’s real name – issued a statement on social media informing fans of his cancer diagnosis and announcing a break from the band while he continues treatment.
The 60-year-old told fans he was ‘responding really well to treatment’, which allowed him to take part in the first leg of the band’s highly-anticipated reunion.
He added that he will now be taking a ‘planned break’ from the remainder of the tour in order to undergo the ‘next phase’ of his prostate cancer care.
Over two weeks on from that initial announcement, the band have finally revealed who they have chosen to replace him.
Mike Moore is the man entrusted by the Gallagher brothers to step into Bonehead’s shoes for the upcoming shows in Asia, Australia and South America.
Moore, a good friend of Liam’s and a frequent face of his solo touring band, will take over the rhythm guitar from tomorrow night when the band play the Goyang Stadium in Seoul.
He was spotted arriving at the airport in South Korea yesterday by fans.
A source close to the band confirmed to the Mirror that he is the new band member for the next leg of concerts.

“Mike Moore has been playing for Liam since 2017 and so he knows plenty of the Oasis tunes from the solo gigs,” the source said.
“It’s not a full time slot in the band and everyone wants Bonehead well and back, but it’s a huge privilege for Mike and he’s excited to get on the stage.”
Moore is not the only member of Liam’s band on the current Oasis line-up. Christian Madden, who has played alongside the iconic frontman since 2017, is on keyboards.
Oasis will play shows in Korea and Japan this week, before flying to Melbourne next week.
They play five shows down under throughout late October and early November, before flying to South America for shows in Argentina, Chile and Brazil.
