Bonfire Night events and displays in Bristol this year

From loud and quiet displays, to spooky ones, charity fundraisers, and even no fireworks at all

Bonfire Night is upon us once again and many friends and families will be wondering where their closest display and event may be. Luckily for us here in Bristol and the surrounding area, there are plenty of displays, parties and other events to choose from.
Whether it be loud bangs or quieter displays, replacing the fireworks with music, having a party, a bonfire, and lots of delicious food and drink – we have it all. What’s more, they begin as early as October 31 this year and end as late as November 8.
Here’s a list of just some of the big events taking place for Bonfire Night in 2025 across Bristol and further afield…
Silent display at Kingswood RFC
When: Friday, November 7, 2025 – gates open at 5.30, bar open until late
Where: Grimsbury Road Playing Fields, BS15 9RA
Tickets: No tickets needed, voluntary donations welcome
The silent fireworks display at Kingswood RFC returns for another year, following the success of 2024. Open to everyone, and a free event with donations welcome, the evening will also feature a BBQ, bar and DJ, and all profits made will help to redevelop the rugby club’s facilities.
Downend Round Table fireworks at King George V Playing Fields
When: Friday, November 7, 2025 – gates open at 5.30pm with entertainment from 6pm and children’s display at 6.30pm. Main event at 8pm.
Where: King George V Playing Fields, BS16 6UY
Tickets: Adults – £11, Child (aged three to 16) – £9, Family Pass (two adults and two children) – £35, VIP – £25, standard seated – £17. Buy tickets here.
Known for putting on a show, the Downend Round Table event provides a ‘professional, dazzling show set to music’ from SkyBurst. Beforehand there will be a quieter, more visual children’s display with an age appropriate soundtrack, and there will also be a range of glow-in-the-dark toys to purchase. All profits go directly to local charities.
In addition to this, there will also be a traditional bonfire hand-built from recycled pallets, which will be set alight after a check for ‘furry friends’. There will also be a Party Peeps disco and foam party, fairground rides, stalls, and plenty of food and drink.
Fireworks display at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club
When: Friday, November 7, 2025, 5-8pm with display starting at 6.45pm
Where: Seat Unique Stadium, Gloucestershire Cricket, Nevil Road, BS7 9EJ
Tickets: Adults £12, Child (under 16) £7, with ages three and under going free. Buy tickets here.
Described as being ‘Bristol’s most popular fireworks display’, Gloucestershire Cricket’s annual display returns with rides, music, food and drink stalls, all organised in partnership with the Ashley Down Schools Federation.
Fireworks at Imperial Sports Ground
When: Saturday, November 8, from 5pm
Where: Imperial Sports Ground, Brislington, BS14 9EA
Tickets: Adults £12.58, Child £6.29, and Family Ticket £27.25 – book here.
This display at Imperial Sports Ground also includes funfair rides and games suitable for both children and adults, a variety of stalls offering hot and cold food and drink options, and light up toys.
Thornbury Round Table fireworks
When: Saturday, November 8, 2025, 5.30-10pm
Where: Mundy Playing Fields, Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, BS35 2AL
Tickets: Adult – £9.50, Child – £4.50, Family – £28 (two adults and two children), under 2s go free. Book your tickets here.
Similarly to the Downend Round Table display, this event begins with a quieter display for children, followed by the lighting of the bonfire, and concludes with the main fireworks display. There will also be a food village, and a fully stocked bar, plus interactive entertainment and a family foam party.

Bonfire Night Party at Clifton Observatory
When: November 5, 2025, 6-11pm
Where: Clifton Observatory, BS8 3LT
Tickets: Adults (15+) – £17.50, Children (2-14 years) – £10, and kids under two go free. Book here.
The Clifton Observatory rooftop terrace will play the perfect spot to watch the Bristol skyline lit up by fireworks, and will also play host to its own entertainment. Guests will receive a welcome drink on arrival, with a food stand and bar on hand to serve up more refreshments throughout the evening.
There will also be an exclusive fire performance in addition to the ‘best’ views across the city.
Bristol Fireworks Fiesta at Canford Park
When: Saturday, November 8, 2025
Where: Canford Lane, BS9 3NX
Tickets: Standard ticket (age 4 and up) – £10, with ages three and under going free. Book tickets here.
Dubbed the city’s ‘largest charity firework event’, Fireworks Fiesta returns following a successful 2024 event, and will this year feature a pyrotechnics display by the winners of the 2023 British Firework Championships, SkyBurst. Party Peeps will also be providing family entertainment and a post-display family foam party this year too.
Bonfire Night at Victoria Park
When: November 5, 2025, from 5pm
Where: Hill Avenue, BS3 4SN
This community event in Victoria Park will feature no fireworks – and attendees are asked not to bring their own. But there will be a huge bonfire and some food and drinks stalls on site.
Low Noise Fireworks at Old Down Country Park
When: Members only – Sunday, November 2, 5-7pm. Public sessions on November 5 and 6, 4-6pm or 7-9pm
Where: Old Down Country Park, BS32 4PG
Tickets: Members tickets – £2 per person, £13.50 for a standard adult, £39.50 for a family ticket of two adults and two children, £9.50 for a child ticket (2-15) or Concession, with under 2s and carers going free. Book here.
This family friendly firework display is dubbed an ‘alternative’ die to its low noise, and boasts two shows each night lasting 12 minutes each time. Alongside the fireworks, you can enjoy live entertainment, fairground rides, and marshmallow toasting.

Fireworks to Music at Avon Valley Adventure Park
When: November 5, 7 and 8, 2025, 5-9pm, with fireworks at 7pm or there abouts
Where: Avon Valley Adventure Park, Pixash Lane, Bath Road, Keynsham, BS31 1TP
Tickets: Tickets sell out quickly and will be on sale soon here.
This event will not only feature fireworks to music, but also a variety of food and drink stalls, a funfair with rides and stalls, and all of the park’s animals susceptible to loud noises will be kept well away from the firework area, held on open farmland.
Fireworks Night live grassroots music event at Ashton Court Mansion
When: November 5, 2025, 6pm-1am
Where: Ashton Court Estate, Long Ashton, BS41 9JN

This live music event will feature performances, local bands and acts, food, drinks and three stages inside the iconic Ashton Court Mansion. All ticket sales will be split between the musicians and running costs, and the event as a whole aims to provide a platform for grassroots musicians to perform on stages, network with other musicians and establish themselves within the city’s music scene.
Twinkle Twinkle Fireworks Display at Puxton Park
When: Saturday, November 1, 2025, 5-9pm
Where: Puxton Park, Cowslip Lane, Hewish, BS24 6AH
Tickets: Standard tickets cost £15 each, while under 2s go free – book here.
This display will be quieter yet just as magical, according to organisers, making it perfect for families. There will also be a number of rides, soft play areas, and attractions to enjoy as soon as gates open, and visitors will be able to explore Puxton Park as part of their ticket price. The fireworks display begins at 7pm and there will be food and refreshments aplenty.
Fireworks Night at Chew Valley Rugby Club
When: Friday, October 31, 2025, from 6pm
Where: Chew Valley Rugby Club, Chew Lane, Chew Stoke, BS40 8UE

Chew Valley RFC’s fireworks event will feature food stalls, drinks stalls, a live band and DJ, in addition to fireworks themselves.
Fireworks at Sea on The Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare
When: Friday, October 31, 2025
Where: The Grand Pier at Weston-super-Mare, Marine Parade, BS23 1AL
Tickets: Standard Tickets – £16 with under 3s going free, Gold Tickets – £22.50 with unlimited rides and a choice of hot meal from Boardwalk Cafe – book here. You can also book tables at Tiffany’s.
This is an ‘extra spooky’ edition of the Pier’s annual fireworks display, with live circus performers, a variety of ticket options, and the chance to have a go at the rides on the Pier, including those famous Go Karts.
