Cremonese vs Udinese
Serie A, 7.45pm Monday
Promoted Cremonese started the Serie A campaign with a five-match unbeaten run but that sequence ended with a resounding 4-1 defeat at Inter on October 4.
Davide Nicola’s men had been riding their luck, conceding the most shots in the division in the first six rounds of fixtures, and their 2-1 opening win at Milan was a real smash-and-grab raid.
The Rossoneri had 24 attempts to Cremonese’s four and Monday’s visitors Udinese should be confident of breaching the home defence.
Both teams to score has been a winning bet in four of Udinese’s first six games, including a 2-1 win at Inter at the end of August, and another open contest is expected.
These mid-table rivals should both regard Monday’s game as a good opportunity to take three points. Cremonese have had a couple of 0-0 draws in Serie A but opponents Verona and Parma had xG figures of 1.89 and 0.9 in those stalemates so backing both teams to score looks a solid bet.
