Lions announce Week 7 roster moves, including signing Jammie Robinson

The Detroit Lions announced a handful of roster moves on Thursday, including plucking a player from the reigning AFC champions practice squad and two returns to the practice squad.
The Lions have signed safety Jammie Robinson to the active roster, released defensive lineman Keith Cooper from the practice squad and signed safety Loren Strickland to the practice squad.
Safety Jammie Robinson was signed to the active roster from the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad. The Lions needed an extra safety for this week with Brian Branch suspended after his postgame actions against the Chiefs.
Robinson is in his third NFL season, spending the first two with the Carolina Panthers. He played in 21 games, recording 20 tackles. He also spent time late in the 2024 season with the Arizona Cardinals.
Cooper was among the final cuts for the Lions this past summer before landing on the practice squad. Strickland is in his second season with the Lions, appearing in seven games in 2024 and in the Bengals game this season.
