The holiday season is fast approaching, and that means it’s soon going to be time for the CPKC Holiday Train’s annual cross country trip.
This year the train will be running from November 19 to December 21, with stops planned in Belleville and Trenton. The train is expected to roll through the region on November 29.
The CPKC Holiday Train raises money and collects food for local food banks at each of its stops. At each location, musicians will perform from a stage on the train.
Since its first trip in 1999, the holiday train has raised over $26 million and 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks across Canada and the U.S.
