Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid

Arsenal kept their ninth clean sheet of the season in Saturday’s 1-0 win away to Fulham. The Gunners, who have won their first two Champions League matches to nil, are unbeaten in eight and can extend that run to nine with another victory over Atletico Madrid, who ground past Osasuna 1-0 on Saturday.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Paris Saint-Germain

Expect entertainment at the BayArena, where Bayer Leverkusen host Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain. Leverkusen beat Mainz 4-3 on Saturday while PSG drew 3-3 with Strasbourg the previous evening. Goals seem guaranteed between two teams who are possibly still working their way into the season.

Newcastle vs Benfica

Newcastle looked limited in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Brighton and Eddie Howe desperately needs to find a creative link between his midfield and towering striker Nick Woltemade. Despite being isolated for much of the game, Woltemade still scored at the Amex and was also on target in the Magpies’ 4-0 win at Union Saint-Gilloise on matchday two. The German can trouble Jose Mourinho’s deep-lying Benfica backline.

Villarreal vs Manchester City

Villarreal have conceded in eight of their last nine matches and look easy prey for Erling Haaland, who took his Premier League tally to 11 goals in eight games with a brace against Everton on Saturday. With three in two Champions League outings and a hat-trick for Norway earlier in the month, Haaland can help sink the Yellow Submarine in Spain.

Football acca FAQs

What is a football accumulator (acca)?
A football accumulator, commonly referred to as an ‘acca’, is a single bet that combines multiple individual bets into one. Each selection within the accumulator must win for the bet to pay out, offering higher potential returns but at increased risk compared to single bets.

Can I place an acca on different markets?
Yes, you can combine various markets in an acca, including match winners, total goals, both teams to score, and more. However, most betting platforms require that selections within an accumulator are not related to ensure the bet is valid.

What is the advantage of placing an accumulator bet?
The main advantage of an accumulator bet is the potential for higher returns from a smaller stake since the odds of each selection are multiplied together. It adds excitement to watching multiple matches, as each leg of your acca needs to be successful for a return.
