Week 8 WR Rankings: 2025 Fantasy Football Rankings

Zach Thompson gives his top 30 wide receivers for Week 8 for the 2025 NFL season.
Week 8 is the biggest bye week of the whole NFL season with six teams out of action, leaving 26 teams of players to choose from as you build your fantasy football lineups. At wide receiver, where injuries continue to take a heavy toll, fantasy teams will be stretched to the max this week, and you may have to get creative with your starting lineups. Let’s take a look at my top 30 WR Rankings for Week 8 after a quick recap of Week 7.
During Week 7 (not counting Monday’s games), Ja’Marr Chase (41.1 FPTS) led the way as the top option after a huge Thursday night game. DeVonta Smith (36.3 FPTS) was the top performer at the position on Sunday’s main slate, edging out Keenan Allen (31.9 FPTS) and his own Eagles teammate A.J. Brown (31.1 FPTS). Rookie Travis Hunter (27.1 FPTS), Chris Olave (26.8 FPTS), Davante Adams (26.5 FPTS) and CeeDee Lamb (25 FPTS) also produced at least 25 fantasy points for big weeks.
Chase passed the injured Puka Nacua (ankle) for the top receiver on DraftKings for the season, but Jaxson Smith-Njigba could catch him with a big night on Monday.
In Week 8, JSN won’t be on the board because his Seahawks are one of the six teams on a bye week. They’ll be joined by the Cardinals, Lions, Jaguars, Raiders and Rams. The Bills and Ravens are returning from their Week 7 bye weeks.
Since these rankings come out on each Monday, be sure to check back throughout the week on DK Network for coverage of any adjustments that need to be made.
