$1M scratch-off lottery ticket sold at N.J. convenience store

A scratch-off lottery ticket worth $1 million for the Mega Hot 7’s game was sold last week at a convenience store in Monmouth County, New Jersey Lottery officials said Monday.

The winning ticket was sold at Circle K at 120 Carr Ave. in Keansburg on Wednesday. The $1 million prize represents the second of three top prizes available in the Mega Hot 7’s game, which stared in January.

The first $1 million winner in the game was sold at Hamilton Deli and Grill, 3800 Quakerbridge Rd., in Hamilton, Mercer County.

A Mega Hot 7’s ticket worth $10,000 was also sold on Wednesday at a QuickChek store on Washington Avenue in Carlstadt, Bergen County.

The game costs $20 per ticket and more than 7.3 million tickets were printed.
