This Morning icon shouts cheeky ‘hungover confession’ at Pride of Britain crowd

EXCLUSIVE: While at the Pride of Britain Awards 2025, one This Morning star admitted they’d had more than a few drinks the night before and were not feeling on top form
One This Morning legend cheekily admitted they were feeling a bit worse for wear on the Pride of Britain 2025 red carpet.
Show host Josie Gibson arrived at the event to celebrate some of the UK’s most extraordinary people, but boldly shouted at the crowd before she went inside.
With a sheepish smile on her face, Josie exclaimed: “I’m so hungover!” as she walked into the Pride of Britain Awards at Grosvenor House in London.
Gibson stole the show in a red figure-hugging dress, paired with a black clutch bag and pointed black heels as she smiled at the crowd. She wore her signature blonde locks in poker straight layers as she waved before making her way inside.

This year the This Morning presenter opened up about her “extreme” dieting past and vowed never again to “mess around” with her body following a recent health scare.
For her TV show The 1970s Diet, which aired on Channel 5, Josie confessed: “I’ve been on the Cambridge Diet, and I ate about a week’s worth of food on the way home from the meeting. Some people love it, but I just can’t get on with it.”
“I’ve done everything, I’ve taken diet tablets back in the day. I have done some extreme things, but I can’t mess around with my body anymore.”

“I cannot mess around with my metabolism, so I am where I am.”
While speaking to Closer Magazine, Josie admitted that by changing her lifestyle she’s become a better mother to her son Reggie: “I thought only kings like Henry VIII got gout. I was like, I’m a 40-year-old woman, this is really embarrassing!”
“I got a bit of a health scare while filming this show, so it knocked me into submission a bit, I had to do something about myself. I’ve learnt more about my sleep as well, I had to track how many hours of sleep I was getting.”
Josie became a household name after she joined This Morning back in 2019
“I was living on four, five, six hours at a push but now I make sure I get eight or nine hours, and I feel like a totally different human being.”
“I’m a better mum, I’m better at my job, I remember things a lot more. I try to walk a lot more than I did now, because I was so tired all the time I’d take the car everywhere.”
