Forward Joshua Roy and defenceman Marc Del Gaizo were recalled from the AHL’s Laval Rocket while forward Owen Beck was loaned to the farm club, the team announced on Tuesday.
Roy, 22, has appeared in 35 games over the past two seasons with the Canadiens, tallying six goals and five assists. He has four points (three goals, one assist) through four games with the Rocket this season.
Del Gaizo, 26, would be making his team debut if and when he draws into the lineup. The left-shot blue liner has played 55 career NHL games, all with the Nashville Predators over the last two seasons, recording two goals and 10 assists.
He has been held off the scoresheet at Laval this season.
Beck, the 22-year-old 2022 second-round pick, has averaged eight minutes and 21 seconds of ice time over two games with the Canadiens, failing to record a point.
Over 13 career contests with the Habs, he has one assist and is still looking for his first goal.
The Canadiens are back in action Wednesday when they hit the road for a game against the Calgary Flames.
