Kairat Almaty v Paphos Best Bet Preview

📈 Kairat Almaty v Paphos Form & Stats

Rafael Urazbakhtin’s side are on course to defend their Kazakhstan Premier League crown as they boast a five-point lead at the top of the standings, with one game left to play – although second-placed Astana do have a game in hand and play Kairat on the final day.

Kairat have won all of their last five league matches and have lost just three of their 25 league matches across the entire season, although two of those defeats have come at their home ground.

The hosts have, however, struggled to replicate that form in the Champions League, narrowly progressing into the league phase after consecutive penalty victories in the third and playoff qualifying rounds, while they have been beaten 9-1 on aggregate in their first two league phase matches.

That includes a 5-0 humiliation at home against Real Madrid last time out, leaving Kairat eager to bounce back and record their first points against Pafos.

Pafos have been at their best when playing on the road this term, managing six wins and one draw from their seven away fixtures, including a superb point in a 0-0 draw with Olympiacos on matchday one of the league phase.

Pafos have been particularly strong defensively on their travels in 2025/26, conceding only three goals in their seven away matches. Combined with Kairat scoring just once in their last five Champions League fixtures, this will give Carcedo’s side reason for optimism heading into this one.
