Round 15 of the National League saw Rochdale tighten their grip on top spot with another dominant display, while late drama elsewhere kept the table in constant motion.

The Dale maintained their charge with a convincing home victory, while Carlisle United put on a four-goal show to see off Forest Green in an end-to-end encounter.

At the other end, Sutton United and Hartlepool United played out a six-goal thriller, and Boreham Wood continued their resurgence with a composed win over Eastleigh.

Six-goal chaos as Sutton snatch point against Hartlepool

Sutton United 3-3 Hartlepool United

A thrilling six-goal contest saw Sutton and Hartlepool share the points at the VBS Community Stadium.

Lewis Simper gave Sutton an early lead, before Luke Charman levelled after the break.

Brandon Njoku restored the U’s advantage, only for Jermaine Francis to strike back. In stoppage time, Edon Pruti headed in a dramatic equaliser after Hartlepool had briefly led late on.

Ruthless York hit four past Stones

York City 4-0 Wealdstone

York City produced a dominant display to comfortably defeat Wealdstone 4–0 at home.

Early goals set the tone, with Malachi Fagan-Walcott and Ollie Pearce putting York in control by halftime.

Pearce’s second and a late strike from Alex Newby wrapped up a comprehensive win, leaving Wealdstone unable to mount any meaningful challenge.

Dieseruvwe double keeps Dale top

Rochdale 3-0 Yeovil Town

Rochdale extended their impressive start to the season with a dominant 3-0 victory over Yeovil Town at the Crown Oil Arena.

Emmanuel Dieseruvwe opened the scoring early, netting after just five minutes before doubling the lead in the 30th minute.

Ryan East added a third just before halftime in the 43rd minute. Despite some second-half pressure from Yeovil, Rochdale’s defence held firm, securing all three points.

Ten-man Forest Green undone by late Carlisle surge

Carlisle United 4-2 Forest Green Rovers

Carlisle battled to a deserved 4-2 victory over Forest Green in an end-to-end encounter at Brunton Park.

Regan Linney struck twice in the first half to give the hosts a strong lead, but Forest Green hit back through Jayden Clarke and Harvey Bunker to level things up.

The turning point came when Forest Green were reduced to ten men – Laurent Mendy sent off after receiving a second yellow – and Carlisle took full advantage.

Harvey Macadam put them back in front late on before Georgie Kelly converted a stoppage-time penalty to seal the points.

Standout performance: The Wood’s work prevails

Boreham Wood 2-0 Eastleigh 

Boreham Wood claimed a well-earned 2-0 victory over Eastleigh in a composed performance at Meadow Park.

After a tightly contested first half, the hosts broke the deadlock just past the hour mark through Abdul Abdulmalik, who finished smartly from a low cross.

Eastleigh pushed forward in search of an equaliser but were caught out late on, as Lewis Richardson wrapped up the win with a tidy finish inside the box.

The result lifts Boreham Wood up to third, piling the pressure on leaders Dale and Carlisle whilst Eastleigh remain in 13th place.
