Royale Union SG Vs Inter Milan – Cristian Chivu To Make Five Starting XI Changes Compared To Roma Win

Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu is preparing a comprehensive overhaul of his starting lineup for tonight’s match against Royale Union SG.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, Chivu could make up to five changes to his lineup compared to Saturday’s win over Roma.
Yann Sommer will reportedly preserve his place between the sticks at the expense of Josep Martinez.
Indeed, the 36-year-old remains Chivu’s first-choice goalkeeper for European matches.
However, Cristian Chivu is planning major changes in defense.

Yann Bisseck could make only his third start this season, with Manuel Akanji expected to make way for the German center-back.
Furthermore, Stefan de Vrij may get the nod ahead of Francesco Acerbi, despite the latter’s brilliant showing at the Stadio Olimpico.
Meanwhile, Federico Dimarco will likely drop to the bench to accommodate Carlos Augusto’s return to the starting XI.
Then, Piotr Zielinski has emerged as a frontrunner to dislodge Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the middle of the park.
With Nicolo Barella set to assume the playmaking role, Petar Sucic could take Hakan Calhanoglu’s place in the engine room.
