Rotation 1

Caylor – UB – toe full to maloney to tkatchev, couldn’t get grips over and falls. So it begins? Resumes with pak, hit – van leeuwen smooth – short cast on high – blind to jaeger, good feet – DLO, step back.

12.000 vault for Reid, 12.733 for Zelcic in beam.

McDonald vaults a Tsuk tuck full with hop back. 12.533. 11.733 for Amankwaah.

12.100 for Caylor.

Martin – FX – DLO 1/1, little bounce back, pike throughout, nice height – popa, around – DLO, more pike down to land it but does – tour jete 1/2 – switch 1/2 some feet – wolf double, around – front full to double tuck, near stick, little step. Very good.

Checking in on Leanne who tries to sell a college stick on her DLO, step forward.

13.900 for Wong (5.7/8.2) and into 4th there just behind the Dutch.

13.300 for Martin is 3rd on floor.

Blakely – UB – stalder full to toe tkatchev piked, closer catch, works through fine – stalder tkatchev piked to pak, close again but muscles out – toe full to van leeuwen, larger leg break than usual – toe higgins to front giant L to double front 1/2, little hop. Some close catches but hit

Evans on floor, we see a DLO, piked down, little hop back. Double tuck, good tight tuck position, maybe too tight and she overcooked it with a bounce back, but nice shape.

13.566 for Evans on floor. Ties Kishi, into 2nd on tiebreak.

Drobniak – FX – FTDT, chest down, hop to the side – split full, a little bounce – double pike big jump back OOB but pretty piked shape – switch full attempt, slightly under rotated on landing – front full, lower, slide back – double tuck, pulls it around – split ring leap. Nice foot positions throughout this routine, a highlight. 11.466

14.166 for Blakely, into 2nd place on bars, which will have been the goal there.

MPK – FX – double arabian, hit into stag, some creative leg position – back 2.5, big rebound out of it – tries quad turn, gets three – tour jete 1/2 – split jump full is solid – front full pretty solid landing, little shuffle – l hop full to switch 1/2. 11.666

Subdivision leaders after 1
AA: Wong 13.900, Evans 13.566, Martin 13.300
VT:
UB: Blakely 14.166
BB: Zelcic 12.733
FX: Evans 13.566

Miss from Caylor. She can come back from that to get a fine AA total if the next events cooperate. Wong will be pleased with 13.900, and Blakely broke 14 to go into a solid position in the bars standings. Evans and Martin did the job on floor, good scores.

Rotation 2

Wong – BB – switch mount, hit, does not connect out of it – side aerial – switch, pause before switch 1/2, so does need the straddle for a dance series – switch ring, secure – bhs loso, slides back and then wobbles, seemed like she was right on but then corrected into a check – wolf double is good – aerial top split to bhs, gets the series bonus – side somi – gainer tuck full, holds onto the stick. Good one. Still a lot of elements to deduct but mostly very solid except for the odd acro wobble.

Martin got 13.900 for her DTY first vault. Vault 2 is supposed to be the Lopez but she ends up tucking and just landing sideways. Eesh, she looks fine but the vault strikes again.

13.166 for Wong, into 5th there.

Caylor – BB – switch mount is good – bhs loso loso is well done – L turn, a bit shaky and not at horizontal the whole way – side aerial, takes it through to switch to straddle, pretty straddle – aerial, a little rushed, arm wave correction before split and korbut – wolf double – bhs bhs double pike, chest down and step but gets it back together with a hit.

Evans does the DTY, we see her run through the background of the stream. 14.000.

Leanne submits an inquiry.

Drobniak vaults Ylayout, good position, bounce

13.333 for Caylor, goes into third place there.

Blakely – BB – shoulder roll mount – wolf triple, leans at the end, holds onto it – back tuck full, very solid, good – fhs front tuck, little bounce forward, leg up correction – switch, pretends to take it to scale, but a larger leg up wobble, breaks connection into switch 1/2 – aerial another wobble – split to wolf jump, check – side aerial is secure – double tuck, good, little step forward. Some great moments but went on a wobble adventure in the middle.

Just 13.200 BB for Blakely, 5.8/7.5, so Caylor leads the US on beam. She’s in third there, and Blakely is in 6th, lower score than Nemour’s miss.

Subdivision leaders after 2
AA: Evans 27.566, Martin 27200 Wong 27.066
VT: Martin 12.533
UB: Blakely 14.166
BB: Caylor 13.333
FX: Evans 13.566

Rotation 3

Korent – VT 1 – hs tuck 1/2 with a step back, 12.566

I like the part where we just show Leanne walking around for an hour.

GR Brown went 12.166 on beam. Martin 12.966 on bars.

Wong – FX – wolf triple, around – double double tuck, hit, chest down, little bounce back – back 1.5 to front full, not a lot of D but good height – switch ring to switch 1/2 – double pike, more out of control, bounce back and then another hop – popa is good 13.066

11.300 bars for Drobniak.

MPK – UB – clear hip shap to bail – clear hip – toe shoot to high – clear hip 1/2, struggles through it, to jaeger – cast 1/2 – double front, couldn’t get close, sits it down

Caylor – FX – double y didn’t look all the way around – DLO, pikes it down to land, little hop – whip full to double tuck punch front is hit, hop forward – wolf triple, around well – double pike is solid, hop back – switch ring – tour jete 1/2, both good

Checking on Evans on bars, catches Gienger but a leg separation – giant full to giant 1/2, cant get over the bar and comes off. Oh Ruby. Reumes and does the blind to double front, hop back.

13.266 for Caylor. Very interested to see what they do with Roberson.

Roberson – FX – Moors, hit with bounce back, keeps it in the corner – DLO 1/1, shorter landing, chest down, lunge – switch – gogean, almost all the way, hops it around a tad at the end – front full to double tuck, bounce back, no full in – wolf double, stands up out of it at the end with a stagger step – double pike, slide back. So some pretty significant downgrades in there and a low landing on the DLO 1/1.

13.000 for Roberson and a 6.9 E score. Consistent with what they’ve been doing on floor. She needed that 6.5 D to keep it afloat.

Caylor top floor worker for the US, but on just 13.266, which is not high.

Subdivision leaders after 3
AA: Martin 40.166, Wong 40.132, Evans 39.166
VT: Korent 13.033
UB: Blakely 14.166
BB: Caylor 13.333
FX: Evans 13.566

McDonald – FX – 2/1 with bounce back, double tuck, bounce – fromnt full, secure landing with some leg crossing.

Caylor goes 14.066 on DTY and finishes on 52.765, into 3rd behind Sugihara and Nemour.

Roberson VT 1 – DTY to start, a little underrotated but gets it to her feet, hop to the side, crossed knees. 13.633

MPK on beam gets her tour jete 1/2 to split jump – back tuck, solid – full turn, little check – side aerial – tour jete – getting through it – let’s cut away before her gainer dismount for some reason

Roberson VT 2 – does not do the Cheng – goes for the layout 1/2 and sticks a very good landing. Won’t have the D she needed but a good vault and obvs the right choice based on today. Yeah, 4.2 D score, pike credit, and 13.166 total.

Oof 13.599 is 4th, behind Mörz.

Wong – VT 1 – also going for the DTY as her counting vault for her AA score – what just happened, tucks it, can’t land it, stumble back and sits it down. 11.733 and a 51.865 AA score. Well, that went downhill quickly.

Wong – VT 2 – lands the Cheng and looks like two hands OK, step back, well, in retrospect that should have been the counting vault for AA. I think they were worried about the one-hand issue but it was much better today in competition. They’re going to give it if there’s some effort. Slo mo is way more questionable.

Evans – BB – front tuck mount – wobble before dance combo, good foot positions – wolf double, check – switch, pause before switch 1/2, under split but secure landing – bhs bhs loso, hits, just a slight bit of knee – double turn, holds onto it, lean to the side correction – aerial, bent knee – 2.5, good stick, knee form. 12.433.

51.599 AA for Evans.

Leat – BB – switch mount, check – into switch 1/2 and falls, sigh – aerial, check – switch to split ring, love her switch leap – wolf double – bhs loso loso, secure, some leg form – switch ring, good rise – 2.5, knees crossed, lunge forward. 12.366

Martin – BB – wolf double, gets it, wobble – aerial – bhs loso and falls – switch to switch side, tight position – straddle from side, lean forward – side aerial, secure – double pike, hop back.

So that will do it for subdivision four. I’m sure there will be lots of hand wringing about this rough US performance. Issues of adjusting to the concrete equipment and selecting the team from non-competition vault landings at camp will…loom large. My takeaway is that Shilese Jones and Jade Carey just texted “Oh, we gots this” to each other.

Rotation 1

Charpy – BB – hits loso mount – bhs loso series big tucking and falls – we havent recovered fro, the last one yet – side aerial, switch to split leap, good – wolf double is strong – aerial to split, under split some, to bhs, little lean – double pike, little hop. 12.100

Yeap – VT 2 – handspring tuck 1/2, chest down, lunge to the side

Adalsteinsdottir – FX – this floor routine is about that tiger they keep caged at LSU and it is what I’m here for – double pike, good feet, large lunge back, looked OOB – L turn single, good – back 1.5 to front full, miracle that she kept it to her feet despite being sideways and one inch off the ground – bounces trying to complete gogean – front layout

Serber – BB – joined in progress – side aerial, big lean forward at the waist, keeps it on – I like this cat wolf hybrid she’s doing – front full hop. 10.866

13.633 bars for Barzasi. I’m sorry, you must have confused her for an American. Please revise and go 14.

Bickel – VT – Yfull, good form, huge bounce back

Perotti has fallen on her Tkatchev out of her Maloney. Resumes with pretty van leeuwen – toe full, past – FTDT, hop back.

Osyssek – BB – switch, little pause before switch 1/2 – round off layout full and falls – aerial to split jump, good extension, wobble – side somi is hit – full turn – side aerial – double pike, hop back. 12.366

Gudmundsdottir just fully ran out of a double tuck in the background.

What a depressing 10 minutes we all just spent together.

Gunnarsdottir – FX – popa, good – double tuck, bounce back – this routine is about a dandruff shampoo that doesn’t work at all – switch to tour jete 1/2, under split – front full, step – switch 1/2 – 2/1, gets it around hop to the side. 11.533

FX: Gunnarsdottir – 11.533

Rotation 2

Serber – FX – double L is around, connects to double turn – double pike, bounce back, arm circle – front tuck through to 2/1, solid – switch – tour jete 1/2 – double y to full turn, double y is around – gets a 2.5 despite a weird punch and leg crossing – double wolf turn. I accept this performance. 12.033

12.933 beam for Barzasi.

Gunnarsdottir – VT – yfull, large bounce back

Wu – UB – maloney to pak is good – short hs – van leeuwen, some leg separation – clear hip to blind to jaeger, good feet – double pike, larger bounce back

Charpy – FX – double tuck, bounce back – double L turn, around – front full to front tuck is stuck, so that’s fun – split jump full attempt is under split – double pike, chest down but another controlled landing – switch to tour jete 1/2, under split again, struggling with some of those 180s.

Serber has inquired her 0.1 ND on floor.

Bickel – UB – toe full to maloney to pak, smooth – van leeuwen, leg separation but small – blind to jaeger, hit – cast 1/2, a bit past – double tuck, chest down, hop forward, but a really nice one.

12.466 beam for Asia.

Perotti – BB – switch mount, largewobble, leg up – switch 1/2, little pause before korbut, and now we’ve cut away.

I feel like this broadcast might be burned down by some Italians in about 15 seconds. Extreme Italy erasure.

Van Eijken – FX – hits the DLO 1/1, solid control – front full to double tuck, bounce back – l hop full to attempt at gogean, under rotated and under split – wolf double is around – FTDT, good control, small slide – double pike, little movement. Great landings overall, some leaps and form can bring it down.

Serber gets bumped up to 12.233 on floor. The guy said she inquired the time, but that wasn’t revised, but they also gave her back 2 tenths in D? I guess?

Perotti got 11.333 on beam.

Van Eijken into 8th place on floor but just 7.4 E score.

Fioravanti – FX – front lay to doubel front, fab, step forward – DLO, little hop back, some pike – switch to switch 1/2, hip direction – wolf triple – back 1.5 through to double tuck, small hop up but looked like she landed at least one foot OOB – double pike, tucks it, and stumbles backward OOB and falls.

Well, if Casella wanted to give them experience…this is sure an experience.

13.133 vault for Charpy.

Nguyen – VT 1 – Tsuk 2/1 is landed, step back and another step adjustment, leg form, but done for credit. 13.833

Adalsteinsdottir – UB – weiler comaneci, goes for it but falls

D’Amato – DLO, comfortable, bounce back, leg separation – double arabian, large bound forward OOB – wolf double – back tuck full side pass – double tuck, good feet, bounce back – popa, around. Meanwhile Anny Wu on beam in the foreground is hitting

Van Eijken – VT – handspring pike 1/2, good position, larger bounce back

Perotti – FX – wolf triple is good – FTDT, little bounce up – front loso to double pike, bounce back – double y turn, heel drop at the end – excellent switch ring and split ring leaps – switch 1/2 – double tuck, bounce back. But a good one. 13.266 is into 5th, ahead of Caylor on E tiebreak.

49.732 AA for Perotti. 49.299 for Serber.

D’Amato – VT – gets her DTY but somewhat awkward on landing with a big lunge back . 13.566. 51.498 AA.

Charpy – UB – toe on to toe full to van leeuwen, small leg break – blind to piked jaeger, good, floaty – some short casts – hits hindorff into pak, leg separation – larger leg separation on van leeuwen – DLO, initiates with a pike – hit, bounce back

Bickel – FX – popa, hit – DLO, piking but secure, hop up – switch 1/2, somewhat under split – wolf double, around – 2.5 to front lay, good layout position, but lands short with step to the side – switch to tour jete 1/2, under – double pike, bounce back, possible OOB.

In general, the people left should be licking their chops at the opportunity presented by the sub 4 and sub 5 athletes going to meh town. But they also have to do it.

Rotation 1

Vansteenkiste scratches bars.

13.200 vault for Scott.

E Westlund – FX – DLO, good height, step back OOB – switch ring is good – tour jete 1/2 – front loso to back 1.5 legs apart, a little short on landing with slide back – wolf single – double pike, shuffle back – switch 1/2

13.433 bars for Vaelen. 11.300 beam for Mihaescu. 13.133 vault for Pass, good height on yfull, bounce back, solid.

Svike with a pretty nice Ricna on bars, but falls afer bail on low bar.

We see Golgota hit a loso series on beam, little check – holds side somi, lean – sideward roll is fun – wolf double, tucks the leg at the end – side aerial, nice, secure – double tuck, bounce back. Lots of adjustments but kept it together, 12.833

Guevara – FX – ends with a 2/1 – switch and tour jete 1/2 – I’ve lost audio and frame rate…and now picture. Fun.

We’re back with Voinea – BB – no more forward roll mount after the euros incident – hits the layout 1/1, ok now – switch, low back leg, connects to split jump, better – bhs layout 2 feet, legs apart but holds it securely – double turn, extra 1/4 turn correction – aerial, lean wobble, not too big – side aerial is solid – switch 1/2, good height, little pause before bhs – double tuck dismount, two steps back. Well, somebody showed up for worlds.

13.833 for Voinea, into 1st on beam.

Rooskrantz – UB – shaposh to pak, pretty – short hs on low – toe full – van leeuwen, little brg break – blind to piked jaeger, nice – i’m worried about these cast handstands – Church to gienger, good hit – FTDT, little hop and a step salute. Yessss.

Kubon a 2.5 to deep front tuck on floor – switch – switch side – popa – back 1.5 to front full landings OOB – wolf double – this floor routine is about missing the little fishes and wishing you could become one but you have no flippers.

Chorna falls on a tour jete on beam.

13.400 for Rooskrantz in 14th.

Huge opportunity for the AINs here to barge into all of these event standings, and some major intra-team competition to see who it is.

Rotation 1

Prijanovic – FX – tour jete 1/2, little hop – double tuck, solid position, step back – L turn single and a bit – switch – switch 12, under – double turn, steps out of it a bit early – front full, step forward – back 2/1, small step

Ventsislavova off on beam mount –

Roshchina – VT – hits her DTY, chest down, crossover step back. 13.566

Costa – UB – shaposh to overshoot – good hs on low – toe shoot to high – clear hip – blind to piked jaeger – cast 1/2 is past – giant full, past – toe tuck 1/2, hop back.

Kalmykova – VT 2 – y1.5, a bit short, step to the side and out of the area. 13.333

13.916 vault average is into 3rd, behind Fontaine and Schönmaier.

Melnikova – VT 1 – DTY, landed well, chest up, small hop to the side – some leg separation. 14.233

Checking in on Cameroon, with Teneku and Mebar making Cameroon’s worlds debut.

Melnikova – VT 2 – goes for the Cheng and almost finds the stick. Just some direction, leg crossing, and a little adjustment, but she’ll easily be into first.

14.366 second vault, 14.499 total.

Ruecker – UB – opened with a good shaposh to pak but then misses her foot on low bar and has to come off

Thorburn – VT – Tsuk pike, lands it, step forward/sideward

Stoimenova – candle mount is hit – wolf triple, hit, good – switch to split to korbut, a little tight on splits but good rhythm – bhs loso loso is solid and an upgrade since we last saw her – back tuck, secure – side aerial – 1/1 dismount, a little short, hop up. Nice. 12.300

Mebar – FX – back 1.5 ish, bounce back – switch and a switch 1/2 – front half, tries to get a stag out of it – wolf single for clear credit – split ring leap – back layout 3/4, lands onto her side

Georgieva – BB – switch, check – tour jete – bhs loso and falls – switch, little pause before switch 1/2, second fall – side somi, big lean – leg up wobble – split jump 1/2 from side, third fall – full tiurn – wolf jump to sissone – back 1/1, hop back. She’s like, see this is why I only do vault.

Subdivision leaders after 1
AA: Melnikova 14.233, Roshchina 13.566, Stoimenova 12.300
VT: Melnikova 14.499
UB: Parente 12.066
BB: Stoimenova 12.300
FX: Hribar 12.066

Rotation 2

Stoimenova – FX – double tuck, chest down, step back – switch – tour jete 1/2, lands a bit under – back 1.5 to front tuck, hop forward – wolf triple, teeters around – switch 1/2 – 2/1, lunge back OOB

Prijanovic vaults a yurchenko layout with step back, Alves finishes beam with back lay 1/1 dismount hop

14.200 bars for Vasileva, goes into third, behind McDonald on the tiebreak, if it holds up on the team

Melnikova – inbar full to inbar shap to pak, nice – van leeuwen, smooth, good position – short hs on high – inbar 1/2 to piked jaeger, hit – short cast hs – giant 1/2, a little late – toe full to FTDT, nailed it. Very strong.

14.500 puts Melnikova into 2nd behind Nemour.

Parente saves loso mount on beam.

Thorburn of Namibia getting the benefit of rotating with the AIN’s and having featured broadcast position. Hits a jaeger on bars – pak, legs apart – shoot to high – toe tuck 1/2, lunge back

Back to Parente’s beam, pulls around a wolf double – side aerial, lean – back 1/1, hop

Mebar vaults and Yurchenko on off with a hop back

Roshchina – UB – inbar full – inbar shap to stalder tkatchev piked to pak, hit – stalder shap to gienger, a little close – toe 1/2 to piked jaeger, hit – giant 1/2 to ftdt, holds the stick – some more leg separations in hers.

Ventsislavova – FX – popa – double tuck, bounce back OOB – tour jete 1/2 – wolf 2.5 – front full, hop forward – 2/1, hop back – switch to switch side –

Ooooh 14.133 for Roshchina, our first upset of the AIN day as she goes behind Vasileva and will be 2-per out of the bars final. A serious contender for a medal.

Teneku vaulted a Yurchenko onto standing on the vault table, so that will be a 0.

Kysseled lands pretty short on Y1.5, lunge back and to the side 12.900

Mueangphuan – BB – aerial, check – split jump 1/2 from side, solid split, arm wave to hold it – bhs loso, turns to the side wobble to keep it on the beam – switch – side aerial –

cut to Kysselef’s handspring front tuck full second vault, also pretty short with a bound back to save it.

Mueangphuan finishes double tuck, gets it to her feet, deep

Costa – BB – loso mount is good – bhs bhs loso, check – aerial is short, but wobble, bend at the hips, stays on – split and straddle – switch ring, very solid landing – side aerial, secure – side somi, lean forward – full turn – bhs bhs 1.5, hop forward

Subdivision leaders after 2

VT: Melnikova 14.499

FX: Hribar 12.066

Rotation 3

Kalmykova – BB – slips on her switch mount and falls – side aerial to loso, leg up wobble – aerial to straddle to korbut is better – wolf double and a second fall – sissone to wolf is hit – side somi, check – double tuck, step back. 11.566.

Stoimenova – VT – yfull, chest down, hop to the side. When the number was posted for the DTY I was going to say……

Thorburn gets wolf turnt on beam. Also side somied. No, I don’t need to see Georgieva vault.

Actually I guess I didn’t need to see that because she’s down hurt.

Nice leap positions from Mueangphuan on floor.

Very much preferred to see an empty beam over a replay of Melnikova’s routine or something.

Just 12.733 for her.

We cut away from Roshchina’s mount to see Alves on floor – doubel pike, step back – now to Roshchina – we see a side aerial, little check – check after aerial before split and korbut – wolf double, pulls it around – switch, pause before sissone to wolf – double tuck, step back. What we saw was a stay on but very tentative. And 11.766 says there was probably a miss before.

So a Russia by any other name beams the same? No AIN-Rs in the beam final.

Teneku gets a –4.233 on bars, so they just give that as a 0.

Costa – FX – pulls around a wolf double – nice pop on DLO, step back – front full, hop forward – switch – tour jete 1/2, little hop – double tuck, hop back – split jump full –

Hribar gets 13.300 on bars, another very nice score.

Subdivision leaders after 3

VT: Melnikova 14.499
UB: Melnikova 14.500
BB: Melnikova 12.733
FX: Mueangphuan 12.333

Rotation 4

Stoimenova – UB – toe on to maloney to pak – van leeuwen, leg sep but caught – giant full with a pause, giant 1/2, leg sep, hits jaeger – double tuck, shuffle back. 11.766. Finishes 47.732.

Mueangphuan hits a tsuk layout vault with a hop back. 12.666

Second vault, handspring front pike, a little short, bounce back

Roshchina – FX – DLO, short landing, big lunge forward – double y, drops a little early – back 2.5 to front 1/2, hit, leg form – split ring – switch 1/2 – 3/1, good stick, some Mustafina legs – wolf triple is around – double pike, bounce back OOB. A lotttt of big leg form deductions here. 12.600.

52.065 AA for Roshchina.

Ruecker vaults a handspring lay 1/2, short and falls

Melnikova – FX – DLO 1/1, hit, hop back – double L turn to full turn – DLO, pikes down some, hop to the side – double y turn, leans through it into illusion – wolf double – front tuck through to double pike, big bounce back OOB – switch to switch 1/2 – Ooof they got her. 13.100. I’ll need to watch this back but so tired.

Costa – VT – yfull, landed, big lunge back

Kalmykova – FX – DLO 1/1, steps back OOB – we see whip to double Arabian in the background, no idea how it was landed, out of frame – wolf double – double y to illusion – switch to tour jete 1/2 – double pike, kind of a stumbly bounce to the side. 12.933.

And just like that…no AINs in the floor final either. It started very well on vault and bars and then went all to the swamp on beam and floor.

Prijanovic – BB – switch and switch 1/2 – slow wolf 1.5 but solid – aerial, check – side aerial to bhs, hit, some knee position – split jump to wolf jump – front full, step to the side.

Rotation 1

Zhou – BB – fhs front tuck to split and wolf, excellent – switch to switch 1/2, ahhhh very tight on switch 1/2 and falls – 43w8k3uefhwehjfajfoijaifd – resumes and steps backward off the beam and falls again – this is simultaneously the best and worst thing that has ever happened to me – I don’t know the rest of the routine was perfect I think, pretty sure I passed out

I repeat ;lksdfj;oaidefjo4i34jkldf4jdf9e72

I blame leaving that dumbass springboard in there –

12.300

Petisco hits Y 1.5 on vault, hop back –

Masova – FX – back 1.5 to front full, lands OOB both feet – double tuck, tries to sell the stick, hop forward, but good landing – very nice technique on tour jete 1/2 – good popa – switch to switch 1/2 – wolf double –

Zhang – BB – switch mount good – to switch 1/2 to korbut, smooth – layout 2 feet to split jump is nailed – switch ring, holds it and then steps back a coupole steps like she’s keeping a secret – switch side to straddle to back dive from side, solid – switch to split jump 1/2 to straddle jump 1/2 – double pike, step back. The queen is dead, long live the queen.

Oooh Szekely 14.200 on bars into 5th.

Artamonova also steps forward OOB on front full on floor – the camera angle of her split ring 1/2 did look like she was just going to run off the side of the floor in the middle of her routine, and yes please.

Czifra 13.733 bars will not make the final.

14.366 beam for Zhang, she’s into first.

We’ve fully lost the stream because it also watched Zhou step backward off the beam and fall.

We’re back. We shut off reality for a second, blew on it, and then turned it back on.

Yezhova – BB – back lay-pike mount, hit with check – bhs loso, secure, knee – aerial, wobble – wolf double, holds onto it, good – switch, check pause, before sissone to wolf – side aerial is hit – punch front full, hop forward

Rotation 2

Zhang – FX – split jump 1.5, hits it – FTDT, step back OOB – front full – switch ring, good – wolf double, around – double pike, step back – switch ring 1/2, another good hit. She’s running. 12.833

Mayer 11.433 on beam, I quit again.

Yezhova – FX – double y turn, drops a little early – double pike, a little short, step forward – split jump full – front full, slide forward – wolf double – double tuck, chest down, bounce back – switch 1/2

Masova – VT – yfull, way off to the side, lands fully outside the area, nice position though

Tsitavets – UB – stalder full to stalder shap to high pak, good – toe full, some feet, into van leeuwen – toe 1/2 to jaeger, caught – cast 1/2, past – FTDT, lands staggered, step to the side. 13.166

Yes, let’s show 20 minutes of nothing, keep that energy going.

Petisco – UB – jaeger, good foot position – Church to pak, leg separation but good position – maloney to bail, great feet – has to recast on low bar before shoot to high – giant full – FTDT, hop forward. 12.933

Rotation 3

Szekely – FX – wolf double – double pike, a couple steps back – y single – front tuck through to 1.5, rebound up – split ring leap – back layout full, bounce upo – switch ring to switch 1/2 – hit

Zhang goes 13.100 for her Tsuk full

Checking on Vlkova’s bars – she hits a shap 1/2 and a jaeger – double tuck dismount, good stick. Oh very nice.

Tsitavets – BB – hits candle mount – wolf single, holds onto it – aerial, low with a bent knee but hit – bhs loso, check back and forth – switch, pause – back tuck, secure – wolf to split jump, tighter – punch layout, step forward

Deng – VT 1 – handspring rudi hits – bounce back and then a full balance check but holds the landing – knees but solid. 14.100

Deng – VT 2 – Tsuk 2/1, also solidly hit – little bounce back, lots of knees. 14.000

Total 14.250, into second behind Melnikova

Mayer – FX – DLO, legs apart but secure landing – FTDT, very strong stick – split jump full – tour jete 1/2 to switch 1/2 – front tuck to double tuck, another stick – wolf double, good completion – double pike, chest down, hop forward. 13.033. Nearly got into the final.

Escudero finishes up on beam with a wolf single, lean back – switch to sissone, nice foot positions – double pike, overcooks it and falls to her back.

Petisco – BB – loso mount – switch to switch 1/2, secure landing – wolf turns herself off the beam – bhs loso loso is hit – side aerial is hit – split jump 1/2 from side, very nice position – double pike, step back

Rotation 4

Vlkova – BB – switch mount is hit, good – bhs loso, wobble, leg up – switch to straddle, another check but holds it on – wolf double, hit – side somi, too far forward and falls – front full, lunge forward

12.866 vault for Szekely, goes 50.632 AA, into the AA final.

Mayer – VT 1 – Tsuk full – clean, good, hop back 13.333.

50.632 AA for Mayer as well, same as Szekely.

Masova BB – falls on her loso series, because that might as well happen too at this point.

Font – FX – back 2.5 to front tuck – double pike, bounce back – wolf double, around – switch – switch 1/2 – double tuck, bounce back – triple turn, excellent use of I’m going to fall over on this turn right into a log roll of choreo

13.400 bars for Zhang, she goes 53.699 AA, into 4th.

Yang – UB – full piro, loses form, into layout jaeger, no full twist – church to pak is hit – stalder to van leeuwen, nice form – inbar full to FTDT, hits the dismount, hop forward. Well, odd but going to survive it. 14.566, still goes into 2nd.

Escudero – FX – DLO, a little short, hop forward – wolf double is hit – 2.5 to front tuck, a little short, slide back – y single, early drop – double tuck, bounce – double pike, step back. 12.333

Petisco – FX – final routine, it will be her or Caylor for the last spot in the floor final – FTDT, bounce back – double arabian, great stick, just some flexed feet – wolf double – switch – tour jete 1/2, nice form – whip to double tuck, solid, bounce back – switch 1/2 – double pike, good stick, chest down

Ohhhhhh 13.200 is 9th. Just out of the floor final. Very close. She just got the top floor E score of the entire competition.
