Park Bom, formerly of the girl group 2NE1, has abruptly announced that she is filing a legal complaint against Yang Hyun-suk, executive producer of YG Entertainment.
On the 22nd, Park Bom posted on her social media account, “To the public, please thoroughly investigate what YG has done to Park Bom, just as it is.”
The photo she shared included a legal complaint listing Park Bom as the complainant and Yang Hyun-suk as the accused.
In the complaint, Park Bom stated, “The accused has failed to pay the earnings that should have been rightfully paid to the complainant for an extended period. I request a thorough investigation and legal punishment regarding this matter.”
She further claimed, “The accused did not properly pay the earnings from all activities in which the complainant participated, including music releases, performances, broadcasts, advertisements, events, lyric writing, and composing.” She added, “The amount is estimated to be 1002003004006007001000034 ‘64272e trillion won,'” referencing a figure that remains unclear.

Park Bom emphasized that YG Entertainment did not provide payment records and that not a single legitimate payment was made to her. She stated, “As a result, I have suffered significant financial loss and psychological damage, which constitutes clear acts of fraud and embezzlement.”
The legal complaint was reportedly filed on the 19th. Netizens have raised questions about the unclear amount mentioned in the document.
Park Bom debuted as the main vocalist of 2NE1 in 2009 and received much love from fans. Last year, the group reunited after eight years to celebrate their 15th anniversary with an Asia tour, but Park Bom suspended her activities in August due to health reasons.
At the time, D-Nation Entertainment stated, “Park Bom will not be able to participate in 2NE1’s future activities. After receiving medical advice that she needs sufficient rest and stability, we made this unavoidable decision after careful consideration.”
